Dr. James earned her doctorate in naturopathic medicine at Bastyr University in Kenmore, Washington. There, she developed her nutritional, dietary, diagnostic, and disease management skills. After obtaining her doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine she completed nearly a year-long externship with a cardiologist where she received advanced training in conventional and integrative cardiovascular care. She has advanced training in obesity medicine to address the complexities of weight gain.
