At Sound Medical Weight Loss, every program is designed with one goal in mind — to help you feel supported, seen, and to be successful on your journey. Whether you prefer one of our in-person programs, or an online do it at your own pace program, we meet you where you are with expert care and ongoing support that fits your lifestyle.
After you pay for your initial provider visit you will be taken to the booking link. From there after you schedule, you will be sent an invite to our patient portal. This is where you will want to complete Self Check-In because it’s important that you complete your health history forms and upload any recent lab work (within the past 12 months) before your first visit, so your specialist has the most accurate information to guide your care.
Your first initial visit is with an obesity medicine specialist and costs $49. This is when they will review your medical history, current medications, and most recent lab work. After this visit, if you are deemed appropriate for the program and all required information is collected, you can get started right away.
The medication costs are separate. The program membership fee is $299, which includes direct access to obesity medicine specialists visit that you can schedule anytime during your membership, access to program resources, follow-ups, and support through our platform.
Our program offers GLP-1 medications, including semaglutide and tirzepatide, when deemed appropriate by your obesity medicine specialist. Medication is shipped directly to your door for convenience.
We do not bill insurance directly for our online program. However, Health Savings Accounts (HSA) can be used for program fees and medications.
The program is open-ended, but a longer-term structure is recommended for the best results with medication. Check-ins can be scheduled as often as you want, with a minimum of every 12 weeks between provider visits.

Yes, the program offers flexibility to cancel your membership at any time. If you are taking medication through the program, we recommend working with your provider before making any changes to your medication to ensure it’s safe and appropriate for you. Please note that specific policies and instructions for cancelling will be provided through your patient portal or by contacting our support team.
If you don’t have lab work from the past 12 months, your specialist may recommend obtaining updated labs before starting the program to ensure safe and effective care.

To reschedule or cancel your provider visit, please contact us 425-636-2346 at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before your appointment and no-shows will forfeit the non-refundable $49 initial visit fee.
