Simple ways to be more mindful

What do you like about music?

Most likely the rhythm right!?Well, the same is true about a routine - It is the rhythm to the day! This is why mindfulness is really important! When we keep it simple by focusing on the things that are easiest first, it motivates us to keep going.

5 simple steps to creating more mindfulness in your day:

  • Step back and look at the big picture of your day. What are you doing every morning that you can improve? Drink a glass of water before coffee to rehydrate your organs? Then try putting a glass of water by your bed so that when you wake up it is already there.
  • Don't commit to any more than 2-5 'new' tasks or to-do list items in a day - Doing any more than this can leave your energy tank dry because of the random things that come up and then leave us discouraged because we didn't get to our list.
  • Accept what you cannot change and change what you can
  • You might not get all your answers at once and that's ok - look for more ways to continue the positive path to uncover more answers

Mindfulness is important to me because it is VERY much a part of a lifestyle that includes health as a focus. No stress! It is all about the right mindset!
